Brussels...

We took a train from Amsterdam to Brussels (about 2.5 hours)...

***We found a private coach within the train which was super nice***

We put our luggage in a locker at the train station...

Then saw these delicious waffles right outside the locker room...

***They sell the waffles similar to how big soft pretzels are sold in the states - ready to eat on the go with toppings or plain***

Our next mission was to find some true authentic Belgium Chocolate...

In Belgium they treat their chocolate like fine jewelry - which was not only reflected in the display but in the price as well - from the fancy displays to the shop's decor it makes the chocolate that much more desirable...

In this particular store they had crystal chandeliers and adorable boxes containing only a few pieces of chocolate for about the same price as Victoria Secret lingerie - for chocolate WHAT?!...

They say the locals here eat "out" more than any other European city & it was apparent with allies lined with tables...

They place restaurants anywhere and everywhere they can...

However with such a variety of food choices there was one particular entree that was the most sought after...the Moules and Frites (AKA Mussels and Fries)...

***So of course T had to try it out***

Belgium is definitely a...

Place for Foodies!
