EMG...

Today I saw the Neurologist and had an EMG test...

As noted in a previous post a Electromyography, or EMG, involves testing the electrical activity of muscles.


"People usually have a small amount of discomfort during EMG testing because of pin insertion."

I can now attest that the "small amount of discomfort" is far fetched!!!

The Doctor inserted the needles deep enough to penetrate the muscle tissue and moved it around in my hand, arm and NECK...


The test came out good and I luckily do not have a compressed nerve from my car accident back on August 19, 2008.

I AM GLAD IT IS OVER...

I HATE NEEDLES!
