Easter Fun...

As the primary "Party Planner" we had our activity last weekend...

I put together this Easter basket to help entice the kids to come to the activity...

***We presented the basket several Sundays in a row before the activity & informed the kids if they come they will have a chance to win this Basket in a raffle***

The Bribe worked - over 65 kids showed up...

They made & decorated their own Easter baskets...

***The kids seemed to love the craft time***

Then we had a "Resurrection Egg Hunt"...

***8 rooms were filled with eggs & once each child found 1 egg..***

***They sat down...***

***And an event was explained about Jesus before he was resurrected...***

***The kids then put the scripture...

and the “symbol” in their empty egg***

While the kids waited for all the groups to finish the Egg Hunt they played "Bunny Bunny Rabbit" - (AKA Duck Duck Goose)...

And then we had the raffle...

***it was fun to see each one of the kids "JUST KNOW" they were going to win***

And at the end of the activity everyone got an egg filled with candy and a festive cupcake...

I have to admit I am glad my table no longer looks like this...


Even though it consumed most of my free time and table space...

It was well worth it!
